The volume "Roma, le magnifiche pinacoteche" by Marco Bussagli was presentedin Rome on 5 May 2011 at the "Biblioteca di Archeologia e Storia dell'Arte del Ministero per i Beni e le Attività Culturali". The book was presented by the author Marco Bussagli, an Art Historian and by the Art Historian and Essayist Valerio Vernesi. The volume offers a spectacular overview of the extraordinary cultural and artistic heritage of prestigious private and public Roman galleries such as Galleria Doria Pamphilj, Galleria Colonna, Palazzo Barberini, Galleria Corsini, Galleria Spada, Galleria Borghese, Galleria Pallavicini Rospigliosi and Galleria Nazionale d'Arte Moderna. In a unique volume, with more than 380 colour images there are the masterpieces of the Roman pictorial art.
